This is a sales and marketing role in the hospitality industry, specifically with Waverley Hotels. The ideal candidate should have a minimum high school diploma, with higher education preferred, and at least 3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry with 1 year in a supervisory role. They should have a valid driving license and be willing to travel. The responsibilities of this role include conducting market research, selling room nights, developing and executing marketing plans, achieving revenue targets, and conducting public and community relations. The primary functions include revenue, community involvement, quality, and leadership. The specific responsibilities include sending daily reports, forecasting sales, executing advertising programs, maintaining visibility in the community, ensuring sales leads are followed up, and more. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, professional appearance, be accountable and willing to work weekends/holidays if required, with a pleasant personality. Performance will be measured by budgeted REVPAR, MSI Index, Group & Contract Sales Production.
