Duties
- Supervise daily store activities, ensuring smooth operations during your shift
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and payroll procedures with accuracy and integrity
- Coordinate purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory control to optimize store performance
- Conduct employee orientation, training sessions, and ongoing development to enhance team skills
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or management experience within the retail industry, including retail sales team management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping principles
- Demonstrated leadership in training & development, team management, and operational oversight
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to retail math, pricing, and cash handling accurately
- Experience in grocery or retail store environments is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence and phone etiquette
