Description
The Account Manager is responsible for developing, growing, and maintaining strategic business-to-business customer relationships across wholesale, contract manufacturing, private label, and custom-blend accounts.
This role serves as a key customer contact and trusted business partner, guiding customers from initial inquiry and product discovery through quoting, sampling, product development, order placement, production coordination, and ongoing account management.
Requirements
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned customers and serve as their primary point of contact.
Account Growth
Identify opportunities to increase customer purchases through new products, line extensions, seasonal offerings, and additional product categories.
New Business Development
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities and actively pursue new wholesale, private-label, contract-manufacturing, and custom-blend customers.
Consultative Sales
Understand customer needs and recommend products, packaging, formulations, and manufacturing solutions that align with customer requirements and company capabilities.
Project Coordination
Guide customers through the product development and manufacturing process while coordinating with internal teams to keep projects moving forward.
Customer Experience
Provide timely, professional communication and proactively address customer questions, concerns, changes, and delays.
Business Growth
Meet established sales, revenue, margin, account-growth, and new-business objectives.

Account Management
- Manage and grow assigned wholesale, private-label, contract-manufacturing, and custom-blend accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
- Maintain regular communication regarding pricing, samples, product development, orders, production timelines, and delivery expectations.
- Conduct account reviews and identify opportunities for retention, growth, and improved customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, quotes, sales activity, and follow-up in the CRM.
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Prospect for new customers through outbound calls, email, networking, referrals, trade shows, conferences, and industry contacts.
Private Label & Contract Manufacturing
- Guide customers through the private-label and contract-manufacturing process.
- Understand requirements related to product type, formulation, fragrance, packaging, labeling, quantities, and target pricing.
Product & Market Knowledge
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of:
- Essential oils and aromatherapy
- Bath & body
- Home products
- Custom blends and formulations
- Private-label products
- Contract-manufactured products
- Wholesale product offerings
Customer & Internal Collaboration
- Clearly communicate customer requirements and expectations to internal teams.
- Ensure commitments made during the sales process are achievable.

Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
