Job Summary

The

Material Handleris responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished products within the facility. This role ensures that production teams have the necessary materials to meet production schedules while maintaining inventory accuracy and following safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and be proficient in operating material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials, parts, and products to designated areas.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
• Ensure materials are delivered to production lines in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts as needed.
• Organize and maintain storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
• Follow safety protocols for handling hazardous materials and operating equipment.
• Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments for delivery.
• Communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Keep work areas clean and free from safety hazards.
