Role Description The Financial Director is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations of Plant Ecophysiology Lab-TUB. The role includes developing and implementing financial plans and budgets, managing cash flow, and aligning financial strategies with the lab’s research objectives. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and reports, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring compliance with institutional and funding agency policies. The Financial Director will collaborate with project leaders on grant budgeting, track research project funds, and provide financial forecasts and recommendations for strategic decision-making. This role also oversees financial controls, supports audits, and maintains accurate financial records to ensure transparency and accountability.
