  • Identify opportunities for earlier project manager engagement to improve planning, risk management, and delivery outcomes.

Team Leadership and Capability Development

  • Monitor project health, risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones, intervening early to address challenges and recommending actionable solutions to leadership.
  • Partner with testing leads and functional managers to align project schedules, testing activities, resource availability, and readiness criteria.
  • Deliver portfolio-level reporting and insights to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

Customer and Leadership Partnership

  • Build trusted relationships with VA stakeholders, program leadership, and cross-functional teams to align priorities and delivery objectives.
  • Facilitate resolution of cross-project dependencies, conflicts, and resource challenges within established governance frameworks.
  • Leverage lessons learned, performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback to improve project management practices and delivery performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess and mitigate delivery risks while balancing customer priorities, organizational objectives, and resource constraints.
  • Working knowledge of predictive, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies, with the ability to apply the appropriate approach based on project needs.
