The Director of Grants Management is a vital member of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan New Jersey (PPMNJ)'s Development team and helps advance our mission by creating and executing a sophisticated grants strategy.
They serve as the subject matter expert in institutional giving (government and private foundations) and actively pursue funding opportunities for services and programs within the affiliate.
Responsibilities include researching grant opportunities, writing grant proposals and reports in coordination with the Vice President of Development and External Affairs and key program staff, and overseeing the life cycle of each grant.
Additionally, the Director will steward grantors and establish and maintain relationships with program officers and foundation representatives for funding opportunities.
The Director will manage a portfolio of at least 40 foundation and government prospects per fiscal year and actively seeks new funding opportunities
