About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Government Relations and Advocacy Specialist to join our team as the Chief of External Affairs. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our external affairs strategy, developing and implementing proactive public policy agendas, and maintaining relationships with elected officials and coalition partners.

- Developed and executed a proactive public policy agenda enhancing Planned Parenthood's visibility, image, and influence in reproductive rights and other healthcare issues.
- Maintained relationships with elected officials and served as the primary spokesperson to legislators and coalition partners for Planned Parenthood Action Oregon member affiliates.
- Collaborated with executive, clinical, operational, and financial leadership to develop and advocate policy positions and execute legislative and regulatory strategies.
- Supervised the implementation of educational strategies, aligning organizational goals.
