Plank & Hide is a luxury brand in the home furnishings marketplace, offering uniquely authentic outdoor casual/ patio furniture and indoor game room products, such as pool tables, shuffleboards, bars, and game tables.
We are searching for a part-time Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining documentation and entry of accounts payable and customer invoicing.
- Cash application and collections.
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
- Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
- Responding to information requests, both internal and external.
- Assisting the finance and ops manager as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 1 years of staff accounting experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Sage 100 ERP
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Average or above Excel skills.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
