Position Overview

PlanITROI is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a 90-day conversion period. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, sorting, organizing, and moving IT equipment throughout our facility to support production and logistics operations. You’ll work hands-on with computer hardware, ensuring materials are accurately sorted, labeled, and tracked to keep production running smoothly.

This position is ideal for someone with at least one year of warehouse experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a basic understanding of computer hardware components. Successful performance during the 90-day temporary period may lead to a permanent full-time position with PlanITROI.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $12 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and sort incoming technology assets, including laptops, desktops, monitors, and related IT equipment.
• Support daily warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring timely movement of materials.
• Accurately sort materials by vendor, model, and serial number to maintain organized inventory flow.
• Identify, label, and track assets through internal inventory management systems.
• Inspect and handle computer hardware to identify model types, specifications, and condition.
• Stage materials for departments such as Receiving, Audit, Repair, and Shipping.
• Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling environment.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware (Laptops, Notebooks, Tablets, Servers, etc.)
• Experience in sorting and tracking materials preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer literacy; ideally, experience in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to use bar-code scanners and inventory systems.
• Forklift Certification or experience desired.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. safely and frequently.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting throughout the shift.
• Experience in ITAD, electronics, or computer refurbishing environments preferred.

The expected salary for this position is $12.00 per hour.
