Job Description : The Department of Music, School of Arts, Media, & Communication, Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, is seeking applications for part-time adjunct instructors with positions available as determined by need and funding during the Fall and / or Spring Semesters for the 2024-2025 academic year, beginning by September 10, 2024. Classes to be taught may include two- to three-unit lecture classes in Music Theory (Aural Training, Musicianship, Fundamentals, and Form and Analysis).

These courses include, but are not limited to the following :

MUSI 1116 Aural Training I
MUSI 1117 Aural Training II
MUSI 1301 Fundamentals of Music
MUSI 1311 Musicianship I
MUSI 1312 Musicianship II
MUSI 2116 Aural Training III
MUSI 2117 Aural Training IV
MUSI 2311 Musicianship III
MUSI 2312 Musicianship IV
MUSI 3346 Form and Analysis of Tonal Music

These classes are in person only.

Required Qualifications :

A completed master's degree in music from an accredited college or university.

Demonstrated competence in assigned course content area(s).

Preferred Qualifications :

Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities.
