Planit’s Director of Human Resources is a visible leader, trusted advisor, culture champion, and advocate for both our people and the agency. As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you’ll work closely with ownership, managers, and employees across Planit. You’ll help shape our people strategy, strengthen our managers, attract and retain great talent, and make sure our HR practices support a healthy, high-performing organization.

We’re looking for someone who understands that taking care of our people and the business go hand in hand. The right HR leader can balance both, advocate for what is fair and right, and make thoughtful decisions that support our people and the long-term health of Planit.

WHAT YOU'LL LEAD

• Develop and lead Planit’s people strategy in support of our culture, business goals, and growth.
• Advise and coach ownership, Senior Leadership, managers, and employees.
• Lead employee relations, performance management, manager development, and difficult workplace conversations.
• Lead recruiting, workforce planning, onboarding, career development, and retention efforts.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, engagement, and employee development programs.
• Champion Planit’s culture and values throughout the employee experience.
• Maintain accountability for HR policies, compliance, payroll, HR systems, and benefits administration.
• Lead and develop our HR Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR leadership responsibility.
• Strong experience in employee relations, performance management, recruiting, compensation, benefits, and employment compliance.
• Demonstrated experience coaching managers and advising senior leadership.
• Strong communication skills, business judgment, emotional intelligence, and discretion.
• Bachelor’s degree in business/management or other related field.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
• Experience in an advertising agency, professional services firm, entrepreneurial business, or similar environment is a plus.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Planit is an office-first hybrid workplace. We work together in our Baltimore office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and remotely Monday and Friday. For this leadership role, visibility, accessibility, and active participation in agency life are important. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary Range: $135,000–$155,000
