The main function of this talent acquisition specialist is to seek out, interview, and screen applicants to fill existing and future job openings and promote career opportunities within an organization. This specialist will be working out of the Draper, UT manufacturing facility, also collaborating to support operations at our Irvine, CA global headquarters.
This recruiter will provide critical support across our high-volume early career programs, including:
- End-to-end management of Engineering intern requisitions in Irvine and Draper
- Ownership of Co-Op program recruitment and management
- Campus interview scheduling and coordination with technical interviewers
- Relationship management with five U.S. target schools
- Planning and execution of Fall recruitment events, including career fairs, tech talks, hackathons, and diversity events, for Utah and Irvine target schools
- Training coordination for campus ambassadors and interviewers for the Fall 2026 cycle
- SHPE Conference support in October 2026
- Support the new rotational development program in Draper
- Ongoing University Relations operational support, including logistics, onboarding coordination, and materials management
- Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
- Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer database, networking, Internet recruiting resources, and employee referrals.
- Screen applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills.
- Prepare and maintain employment records.
- Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection.
- Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in organizations.
- Experience in university recruiting or high-volume requisition management
- Strong event planning and operational coordination skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to partner effectively across stakeholders
- Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.
- Basic knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices and other work-related activities.
- Basic knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection and training.
- Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent field required.
- 2-4 years HR or recruitment experience required.
