Reporting to a Maintenance Manager / Supervisor, incumbent will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of production, process, refrigeration, HVAC and/or site utility equipment (GMP & non-GMP). Incumbent will be a key shop floor contributor, providing independent support and execution of maintenance tasks.
Major Accountabilities
Education High School Diploma with 5 years’ relevant GMP / industry experience OR an Associate degree with 4 years’ relevant GMP / industry experience OR equivalent.

Incumbent will be a key shop floor contributor, providing independent support and execution of maintenance tasks.
Major Accountabilities
- Collaborates with Utilities Maintenance, Process Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure work activities are compliant with GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on Clean and Dirty equipment that provide uninterrupted Utilities for the site.
- Develop efficient maintenance job plans, procedures, and work instructions for site equipment.
- Recommends spare parts and preventive maintenance procedures to optimize equipment reliability.
- Routes documentation for spare parts requests and work order submissions.
- Assists other departments in troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and optimizing equipment performance.
- Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the site’s Maintenance Program.
- Responds promptly to facility alarms and initiates appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinates maintenance activities with internal stakeholders to minimize operational disruptions.
- Oversees contract service providers and support contractors during maintenance execution.
- Demonstrates proficiency with tools and software such as CMMS (SAP) BAS, PAS, Pi, and PLCs
Education High School Diploma with 5 years’ relevant GMP / industry experience OR an Associate degree with 4 years’ relevant GMP / industry experience OR equivalent.
- Advanced experience and knowledge of maintenance disciplines within a cGMP Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DCS, PLC, and/or Building Automation Systems (BAS) control systems.
- Proven knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Demonstrated experience problem solving and troubleshooting systems in a pharmaceutical environment required.
- Strong organizational and planning skills required
- Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral) are required in order to interface across management levels and departments.
- Working knowledge of the process for fermentation, purification, utilities and formulation preferred.
