Location: Athens, GA
Contract: 6 months
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Schedule:
7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Overtime as needed
Weekend and holiday work required
Requirement: Rabies vaccine required
About the Role:
This position supports the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment using virus and cell culture techniques in compliance with USDA regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform activities related to preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processes
- Complete and review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Assist with training and coaching new and existing employees
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions
- Escalate production flow disturbances as needed
- Demonstrate commitment to EHS programs and initiatives
- Support continuous improvement efforts (AAI)
- Participate in site projects, including deviation and change control activities
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Knowledge of clean room operations and aseptic techniques
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Basic math and equipment/automation troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and database systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and solve problems
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred: Biology degree or related field
- Preferred: 1 year of laboratory and/or manufacturing experience
