Data Governance Consultant

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Data Governance Consultant will be responsible for driving an Enterprise Data Governance Program across the enterprise

• Be a key resource within the Enterprise Data Governance Office and work independently
• Identifies and onboards Data Owners and Stewards across the enterprise to support Data Governance initiatives
• Authors and maintains policies and procedures across the data lifecycle. Works with business leads to ensure compliance
• Drives Data Governance initiatives across multiple business units – data classification, data access, data retention
• Must be able to communicate effectively and dive initiatives across business functional and technical teams
• Develop inventory or critical data elements aligned to business units across the enterprise
• Work with business leaders to evaluate data quality and areas to improve
• Work with business leaders to identify areas of opportunity to mature data governance capabilities
• Must have strong communication and presentation skills
  
  

Skills

3-7 years working in Data Governance

Experience with Data Classification, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Catalog, and Data Observability tools a plus

Experience in pharmaceutical industry a plus

Education

Technical Degree or related work experience desired

Pay Range: $84-89/hr *based on experience
