Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a medical facility in Hastings, Nebraska. This is a travel nursing opportunity that requires a high level of expertise and a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the PCU, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and developing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their unique needs and develop strategies to meet those needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and test results
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Nebraska
- At least 2 years of experience working in a PCU or similar acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with others
