Rehabilitation RN Job Details
- Location: Chesterfield, Missouri 63017 (St. Louis area)
- Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
- Start Date: October 6, 2025
- End Date: January 5, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800–$1840
- Patient Population: Adults (18 years)
- Unit: IRF Division (81 private rooms: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury units)
- Electronic Health Record: Epic
- Scrub Color: Black
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
- BLS (CPR) Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience (rehabilitation nursing or med/surg preferred)
- Ability to float between rehabilitation units as needed
- Strong communication, flexibility, and a collaborative, positive attitude
- CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) certification preferred, not required
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult patients in a clinical rehabilitation setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals
- Monitor patient progress, document care using Epic EHR, and adjust interventions as needed
- Float between specialized units (Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Medically Complex, Comprehensive) as required
- Educate and support patients and families in daily living skills and adapting to new functional abilities
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, healing healthcare environment
