Key Job Details – Augusta Nursing Jobs
- Location: Augusta, Georgia (30901) – Georgia nursing jobs
- Assignment Length: 12 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/2/2026)
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (10:00 AM – 8:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1970 - $2020
- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
- Unit: Main Operating Room (16 rooms, average daily census of 35)
- Call Requirements: 7-8 calls per 8-week schedule, including 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts
- Weekend Coverage: Average 2-3 shifts per contract period
- Scrub Color: Provided by facility
- Active Georgia or Compact Registered Nurse license (required for submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
- BLS certification required
- Circulate and scrub experience required
- Experience with Epic, Pyxis, and DaVinci XI robots preferred
- Ability to care for adult and geriatric surgical patients
- Must submit compliance documents and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Two supervisory references highly preferred
- Deliver perioperative nursing care for surgical specialties: General, Neuro, Spine, Orthopedic, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal
- Circulate and scrub for complex surgical procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic and hospital systems
- Participate in call rotation and provide weekend/holiday coverage
- Comply with facility policies, procedures, and orientation requirements
