Neuro RN Job Details – Rochester, NY Healthcare Jobs
- Location: Rochester, NY 14642 – Experience the vibrant culture, scenic waterfronts, and beautiful parks of Rochester, New York.
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
- Duration: 17 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 2/7/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Neurology Unit, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2130-$2190
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), 3 shifts per week, including weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum 2 years of recent neuro or telemetry nursing experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry nursing experience required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification highly preferred
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with acute and complex neurological conditions
- Apply critical thinking skills in a dynamic healthcare environment
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat neurological disorders
- Monitor patients using continuous video EEG technology
- Participate in rotating shift schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
