Neuro RN Job Details – Rochester, NY Healthcare Jobs

• Location: Rochester, NY 14642 – Experience the vibrant culture, scenic waterfronts, and beautiful parks of Rochester, New York.
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
• Duration: 17 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 2/7/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Neurology Unit, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2130-$2190
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), 3 shifts per week, including weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed
  
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 2 years of recent neuro or telemetry nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification highly preferred
  
  

Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with acute and complex neurological conditions
• Apply critical thinking skills in a dynamic healthcare environment
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat neurological disorders
• Monitor patients using continuous video EEG technology
• Participate in rotating shift schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
