Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Florence, SC 29506 – Explore rewarding South Carolina nursing jobs in a city known for its vibrant arts scene, beautiful parks, and welcoming community.
• Healthcare Setting: Neuro Endovascular Unit (Procedural Specialty)
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel RN contract)
• Start Date: August 17, 2025
• End Date: November 15, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: Every other week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2750 - $2820
  
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or multistate compact license
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Moderate sedation training
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Neuro Interventions, Cath Lab, or Cardiovascular OR circulator role (ICU nursing experience preferred)
• Experience in procedural units and patient safety initiatives
• Ability to participate in call rotation
  
  

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Assist in opening and establishing the new Neuro Endovascular department
• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic analysis
• Plan and deliver individualized nursing care for patients undergoing neurovascular procedures, including LVO stroke cases and cerebral aneurysm repairs
• Implement nursing interventions according to care plans and physician orders
• Demonstrate competency in aseptic technique, moderate sedation, point of care testing, and operation of specialized neurovascular equipment
• Ensure patient safety and privacy, following HIPAA and hospital protocols
• Administer medications, blood products, and reconcile patient medications per policy
• Participate in code management, rapid response, and end-of-life care as needed
• Complete all procedural paperwork, consents, and documentation accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care
