Travel Nursing Job Details
- Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment
- Location: Clinton, IA 52732 (Iowa nursing jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel nurse contract
- Unit: Labor and Delivery
- Start Date: November 10, 2025
- End Date: February 8, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2000 - $2050
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Iowa or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a clinical setting
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
- Completion of all onboarding requirements (background check, competency testing, health screenings, etc.)
- Provide expert patient care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and assist with labor and delivery procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
