- Location: Anchorage, AK 99508 – Explore Alaska nursing jobs in a city known for mountain views, wildlife, and outdoor adventures.
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
- Specialty: Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050-$2100
- Call: Not required (voluntary only)
- Start Date: September 15, 2025
- Active RN license (Registered Nurse) in the state of Alaska
- Minimum 1 year of recent Home Health RN experience (within the past 3 years)
- Proficiency with HCHB and OASIS EMR systems preferred
- Strong initiative, adaptability, and self-motivation
- Reliable transportation plan for Anchorage (drive up, rent, buy, or ship a car)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes across the Anchorage region
- Perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Accurately document patient care using HCHB and OASIS EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and home care best practices
- Demonstrate flexibility in covering a wide territory and adapting to diverse patient needs
- Uphold high standards of patient safety and quality healthcare
