• Location: Snellville, Georgia (30078) – Atlanta metro area
• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Nursing Contract
• Assignment Type: Travel nurse contract
• Start Date: November 3, 2025
• End Date: February 9, 2026
• Contract Duration: 14 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 - $1,610
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Population: Infants, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics
• Unit Size: 46 rooms; average daily census of 135
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Floating: May float to sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South)
• Holiday Coverage: Must be available for major holidays per assignment policy
  
  

ER RN Qualifications And Requirements

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact State RN license (required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred
• Proficient with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR charting systems
• Skilled in central line care, CPAP/BiPAP, IV vasopressors, ventilator management, triage, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience providing emergency care for all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics
• Full compliance with documentation and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred
• Not accepting first-time travel nurses
  
  

Key Responsibilities for Emergency Room Registered Nurse

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced ER setting
• Perform triage, assessment, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Administer medications, manage IV vasopressors, and provide care for ventilated patients
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, provide central line care, and operate CPAP/BiPAP equipment
• Implement isolation precautions and adhere to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: IV therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Accurately document patient care using Epic and SBAR systems
• Float to sister campus as needed to support patient care
• Work every other weekend and be available for major holidays per assignment policy
