Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Norfolk, VA 23507 (Virginia travel nursing jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (CVOR)
- Start Date: September 1, 2025
- End Date: November 29, 2025
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, starting at 6:00 AM
- Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $3120 - $3200
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Virginia or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular surgery and operating room procedures
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities in a clinical setting
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for CVOR patients
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patients throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases of cardiovascular surgery
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in the operating room
- Educate and supervise clinical support staff and surgical technologists
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
