Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Norfolk, VA 23507 (Virginia travel nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (CVOR)
• Start Date: September 1, 2025
• End Date: November 29, 2025
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, starting at 6:00 AM
• Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $3120 - $3200
  
  

CVOR RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Virginia or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular surgery and operating room procedures
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities in a clinical setting
  
  

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for CVOR patients
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patients throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases of cardiovascular surgery
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in the operating room
• Educate and supervise clinical support staff and surgical technologists
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
