Virtual Vice President of Product Marketing, IT Authorization Security Space
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtual Vice President of Marketing to join our team. As employee #1, you will play a vital role in shaping the direction of our company and driving growth. Our recent seed round raised an unbelievable $11M at a $36M valuation, and our founders' last venture resulted in a big exit with the sale of the company to Microsoft. We operate in the IT Security space and are 100% virtual.
In this role, you will work closely with the CEO to identify quarterly objectives and develop and execute plans to create brand awareness and preferences. You will be responsible for creating marketing messages for the company's products, blog articles, press releases, email campaigns, media kits, whitepapers, infographics, sales materials, and social messaging. Additionally, you will work closely with the product team to incorporate marketing messages into product structure and documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing plans to create brand awareness and preferences
- Creating marketing messages for the company's products, blog articles, press releases, email campaigns, media kits, whitepapers, infographics, sales materials, and social messaging
- Incorporating marketing messages into product structure and documentation
- Creating and managing a content strategy to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a VP of Marketing or similar role
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles and strategies
- Experience in the IT Security space is a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
