Duties
- Greet members and guests warmly as they arrive, creating a positive first impression
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash handling procedures
- Process cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent guest service standards
- Assist with event setup and management, including outdoor activities or venue arrangements when needed
- Enforce safety protocols, including manual handling and safety procedures during heavy lifting or outdoor work
- Address guest inquiries promptly, resolving conflicts with tact and professionalism
- Support event management efforts by coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth operations throughout the morning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, including safety checks and equipment inspections such as first aid kits and CPR readiness
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards
- Provide support for special events involving children or large groups, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or guest relations within retail sales, hospitality, or event venues preferred
- Hands-on experience with POS systems, cash handling, and processing transactions required
- Background in event management or outdoor work experience highly advantageous
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle challenging situations effectively
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred; Lifeguard or lifeguard experience is a plus
- Experience working with children or in resort settings enhances suitability for this role
- Familiarity with theater or food service environments can be beneficial for managing diverse guest needs
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when setting up or breaking down events
