Stop grinding out 100 cars a week in a sweltering shop. We are looking for a unique automotive professional who wants to turn wrenches and close their own tickets. If you have the mechanical skills to diagnose and fix it, and the communication skills to sell it, this role puts you in total control of your paycheck.
This position is built for someone who wants the earning potential of front-counter sales without giving up the satisfaction of hands-on repair.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Dual Workflow: Seamlessly transition between performing hands-on diagnostics and mechanical repairs in the bay, and advising customers at the front counter.
- High-Ticket Closing: Build comprehensive repair estimates and present them to customers, translating technical issues into clear, value-driven explanations.
- Educate & Advise: Confidently handle customer concerns by explaining the safety implications, necessity of the repair, and the quality of our parts.
- Maximize Your Payout: Take advantage of our steady car count to spot necessary preventative maintenance, write complete estimates, and follow up on deferred work to drive your commission.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Mechanical & Sales Expertise: A strong background working as a technician, paired with the communication skills and confidence to ask for the sale.
- Diagnostic Ability: The hands-on mechanical understanding necessary to properly diagnose vehicles, perform repairs, and accurately calculate diagnostic times and labor.
- Self-Motivated: You are driven by performance-based pay and thrive when your own thoroughness, wrenching, and closing skills dictate your income.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $800/Week Guaranteed Base Salary
- Aggressive, Uncapped Performance Commission based on Gross Profit and overall production. (You diagnose it, you sell it, you fix it, you maximize your pay).
