ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other responsibilities may be assigned):
- Maintain a consistent, high level of customer service within an area by participating in training and evaluation of associates’ selling performance.
- Review advertising calendar and maintain floor presentation to maximize sales opportunities.
- Build enthusiasm and awareness of promotional events amongst selling staff.
- Maintain an open and positive relationship with the store management team.
- Ensure company/store policies and procedures are communicated in a timely manner and adhered to accordingly.
- Address concerns with employees as needed and follow up with managers.
- Maintain employee attitude and morale by recognizing co-worker’s performance and service; inspire employees so that each person contributes to the productivity of the store.
- Provide feedback to the manager to help support the development of staff.
- Delegate daily tasks appropriately and effectively.
- Process damaged and defective goods in a timely and accurate manner.
- Protect company assets by following and loss prevention procedures; train staff on same.
- Model and ensure all policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are communicated effectively to employees, maintained and consistently followed.
- Work as a part of a high-performing team to achieve the store’s sales plan. Supports sales-driving initiatives, creates daily agendas, and directs selling activities as (MOD).
- Complete inventory transactions including but not limited to, receiving, MOS, and RARs.
- Work hand in hand with the production Lead. Performs all opening/ closing duties, including cash reconciliation, bank deposits, safety inspections, etc.

- Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, and store merchandising.
- Continually able to walk up and down a staircase, carrying boxes, products, and other necessary store-related items.
- Ability to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean.
- Ability to safely lift boxes up to 55 lbs.
