Field Service Representative — Montgomery, AL (Maxwell AFB)
PLANELOGIX is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Field Service Representative (FSR) to support our partnership with Civil Air Patrol (CAP), the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. CAP operates the world's largest fleet of single-engine piston Cessna aircraft — over 500 airplanes flying 100,000 hours a year on search and rescue, disaster relief, and Air Force training missions. We're helping them modernize how that fleet's maintenance records are managed, and we need someone on the ground at Maxwell AFB to make it happen.
This is an on-site role in Montgomery, AL. You'll be a PLANELOGIX employee whose sole job is to make sure our client is successful and happy.
The first year: execution
You'll manage the logbook digitization effort that kicks off the partnership. Day to day that means:
- Coordinating logbook shipments between CAP units across the country and our team
- Leading a team of at least 3 scanning technicians on-site
- Serving as the primary point of contact for CAP's logistics staff at Maxwell — communicating status, surfacing issues, and keeping everyone aligned
- Onboarding aircraft into our system as bandwidth allows
After year one: customer success
Once the bulk of scanning and onboarding wraps, the role shifts toward ongoing customer support — and there's potential for more remote flexibility at that point. You'll become the trusted advisor who helps CAP get maximum value from our platform long-term.

What we're looking for

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you'll be the voice of PLANELOGIX to a major customer
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets
- Able to work on-site at Maxwell AFB and pass any required base access requirements
Bonus points
- Familiarity with the FAA regulatory environment (Part 91 maintenance concepts, ADs, SBs, ICAs)
- A&P or IA license, or hands-on exposure to piston aircraft maintenance workflows
- Prior military or government contracting experience
- Aviation enthusiasm — professional or personal

Pay: Competitive and dependent on experience and qualifications. Starting at $60k/year.
Salary : $60,000
