The Family Office Team is seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Planner with a strong background in tax planning and wealth management. The Senior Financial Planner will play a critical role in guiding clients toward their financial goals, ensuring the preservation and growth of family wealth across generations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sophisticated, customized financial plans for high-net-worth families, with a focus on tax efficiency and multi-generational wealth transfer.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of client tax situations, identify planning opportunities, and recommend strategies to minimize tax liabilities while complying with current tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients, their legal and tax advisors, and other family office team members to coordinate estate, trust, and philanthropic planning initiatives.
- Perform regular portfolio analyses and recommend adjustments based on changing tax laws, market conditions, and family objectives.
- Stay up to date with federal, state, and local tax legislation and proactively communicate relevant changes and their impact to clients and the team.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior planners and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Participate in client meetings, family councils, and educational sessions to explain complex financial and tax concepts in an understandable manner.
- Assist in business development efforts by demonstrating expertise in tax and financial planning to prospective clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 4 years of experience in financial planning, with a focus on advanced planning for high-net-worth individuals or families. (Open to starting the right candidate at “Planner” level with less experience.)
- Demonstrated expertise in federal and state tax compliance, estate planning, charitable planning, and family governance structures.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex client relationships and sensitive family dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex strategies into clear, actionable guidance for clients.
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to client confidentiality.
- Pursuit of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar professional designation helpful.
