Stocker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Stocker to join our vibrant retail team! In this role, you will be the backbone of our store’s inventory operations, ensuring shelves are stocked, organized, and ready to serve our customers. Duties

• Manage inventory levels through accurate stock replenishment, restocking shelves, and organizing backroom storage areas using inventory management systems.
• Operate RF scanners and pallet jacks to efficiently load, unload, and transport merchandise throughout the store and warehouse.
• Use forklifts responsibly for heavy lifting tasks involving large or bulky items, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments, inspecting items for damages, and updating inventory records.
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves, implementing planograms, and ensuring proper signage.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store environment by performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, and organizing stock areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries, locating items, and offering friendly support in multiple languages if needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in inventory management within retail or warehouse settings.
• Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for stock accuracy and store presentation.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of grocery store operations including stocking, packaging, shipping & receiving, and merchandising.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
