Role: Psychiatry Physician
Responsibilities: Conduct onsite rounding from 8:30 am to 6 pm Monday through Thursday, with 24-hour remote call on weekends. See 12-16 patients per shift in inpatient acute psychiatric units and long-term facilities, focusing on anxiety, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, and organic disorders. Experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, ECT, pharmacotherapy, and group/family therapy is preferred. Provide inpatient psychiatric care, including managing acute cases and long-term treatment.
Qualifications & Skills: Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor, with or without US residency, holding a current US work visa. Experience with involuntary commitments and seclusion therapy is preferred. Strong communication and clinical skills necessary.
Key Duties: Deliver psychiatric evaluations, manage patient treatments, and participate in therapy modalities. Guarantee 9.5 hours per onsite shift, with paid malpractice, and pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Maintain online documentation, with 24-hour access to support.
