What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist (Exempt) position at Plan A Health?
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
- Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, with general oversight of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
- Perform duties aligned with departmental policies, standards of treatment, and organizational values.
- Qualifications include current state licensure of Physical Therapy, with a Bachelor, Master of Science, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy; BLS certification; and current licensure in the practice state.
- Preferred experience of six months to one year in rehabilitation, especially with adult and geriatric populations.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical movements such as gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
