Description: Assignment for a daily building substitute teacher is available at the Plainville High School. A Bachelor's degree is required. Substitute teachers must be able to follow instructions and lesson plans left by the teacher. As a substitute teacher you must be able to work with a variety of students with special education needs. Excellent communication skills are required. Substitute teachers must be reliable and have a positive attitude. Building substitutes are utilized across various grades, departments and classes and must be versatile and flexible. Substitute compensation rate is $125.00 per day or $150.00 per day if Certified.

(Once hired, fingerprints and DCF information must be submitted for a national background check).
