OFFICE PROFESSIONAL CLASS II - Special Services
Description:
Supports the Director of Special Services with the coordination and execution of daily operations for the Special Services Department Office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: direct communication with parents, staff and community providers to answer questions related to special education programming, processing purchases and payments required to implement special education services, management of school-based health care Medicaid billing, maintenance of data managment systems, other clerical functions for department administrators including administrator correspondence, record keeping, maintaining school calendars, file management, and others as assigned.

- Strong oral and written communication skills with precision and attention to detail
- Ability to create efficient organization systems to support the management of a variety of events, activities, or projects
- Must have ability to deal with challenging situations, problem solving, prioritizing tasks, creating and maintaining a professional work environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and mangement of sensitive information
- Familiarity with school district operations, including fiscal management and budgeting process
- Knowledge of office procedures, equipment, computer operations, and strong clerical experience required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Applications, email, electronic calendars, desktop publishing, and database programs
- Ability to develop data analysis spreadsheets and merge documents from a variety of data sources
This is a twelve (12) month position. $30.28 - 34.23 per hour.
