Duties
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on OTR routes
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and route planning
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for mechanical issues, tire conditions, and load security
- Deliver freight promptly at designated locations, ensuring accurate documentation
- Maintain logs of driving hours, delivery records, and incident reports in accordance with DOT regulations
Experience
- Proven experience operating commercial trucks with a valid Class A CDL license
- Demonstrated knowledge of truck driving best practices
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations & DOT standards
