QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent, prior computer experience
and willing to learn new programs, preferred prior experience
working with children in a school environment. Leads secretarial staff and office clerks.

& effectiveness in that assignments.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance
with the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
PERFORMANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand, utilize, monitor and repair available technology as well
as make sure it is in working condition (copiers, fax machines, and
various office machines). If not in working order, call for repair
or service as needed.
Maintain all financial records of the office including, but not
limited to: deposits for Board and Principal accounts, deposit
reporting to Central Office, writing fee receipts, entering all financial
deposits and expenditures in computer, field trip record keeping,
transportation purchase orders and payments, and ordering
of all necessary supplies.
Greet visitors and parents/guardians entering the building in a
friendly manner and assist with needs or concerns and monitor
student safety for pick up by checking identification.
Answer telephones, relay messages, transfer calls, manage
communications to appropriate individuals.
Manage mail, sort and distribute deliveries, and verify receipt
with reporting to Central Office and tracking of all incomplete
deliveries.
Order and maintain inventory, making sure necessary
supplies are on hand, and placing requisitions for supplies
for the office, classrooms or building.
Organize and manage absentee and Frontline substitute system
and reporting. Also complete payroll forms for substitutes
and employees and call for substitues as necessary.
Process all forms and information and submit to Central Office
on a timely basis.
Assist substitutes with assignments, information and
completing any necessary paperwork.
Make copies, produce reports, count and distribute flyers,
print draft and final report cards at the end of each nine weeks
for all grade levels and create documents for others as needed.
Keep district and building calendars current, post school
materials such as schedules and menus, and make appointments
as needed.
Support administrator with all facets of how the building runs
on a daily basis, schedule meetings with parents, students and
staff members as requested.
Record keeping, such as safety drills and inspections as
needed and directed.
Organize fundraisers, collect moneys, order flowers, send
cards, etc, when needed.
Assist administrator/supervisor with programs such as
assemblies, student rewards, afterschool activities and
family programs
Organize and document dismissal processes for all students
including bus transportation, parent pickup and daycare
bussing daily and assuring student safety.
Enter and maintain accurate information on EMIS system
including: registering all new students, updating student’s
personal information, all contact information, immunizations,
medical information, posting fee payments and waivers, schedules,
special education exemptions, discipline records, ADM attendance
reporting, withdrawing students and sending student records.
Provide daily first aid to staff and students that may include
exposure to blood and bodily fluids, call for assistance from
parents, nurses and possibly emergency medical services, complete
incident reporting and health reporting to Stark County Health Dept.
Provide assistance to staff and students that may include daily
interaction among unruly children, monitor students assigned to
the office for consequences and assist with discipline when necessary
Organize, secure and distribute student medications as per
administrative direction and policy.
Support PTO and volunteers in all facets of school related
activities and programming.
Use of PA system and make special announcements as needed.
Attendance of evening events as required per contract and perform
other duties as assigned.
