You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while mentoring teammates and driving engineering best practices.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs.
- Build cloud-native services with a focus on reliability, security, and performance.
- Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable technical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
- Improve system performance, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to engineering standards and development best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of professional backend software engineering experience.
- Current or recent experience in a Senior or Lead Engineering role.
- Strong background building backend systems in production environments.
- Recent hands-on experience with:
- TypeScript
- Node.js
- SQL databases
- Public cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems and APIs.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, and modern development practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in high-growth technology companies or large-scale engineering organizations.
- Background building customer-facing SaaS platforms.
- Experience with customer engagement, sales enablement, business applications, or other enterprise software products.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with a high level of ownership.
