In this role, you will provide day-to-day services within the Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) program, offering hands-on support, facilitating therapeutic and educational activities, and promoting client wellness and independence. You will engage clients in group and individual settings, help maintain a safe and structured environment, and work with the broader CPRC team to ensure each individual receives the highest level of support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate PSR education sessions and group activities that support client growth, daily living skills, and emotional wellness
  • Plan, organize, and lead groups, outings, and activities that align with program goals and client treatment plans
  • Support clients in implementing their individualized treatment plans under the guidance of the Clinical Supervisor and/or PSR Supervisor
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment by monitoring program premises and ensuring all safety and sanitation expectations are met
  • Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, healthy communication, and respectful interpersonal behavior
  • Participate in team planning, orientation activities, referral processes, and record-keeping duties
  • Provide advocacy and daily support for clients while collaborating with the CPRC team to enhance client care
  • Operate agency vehicles for client transportation and program-related business
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisory staff

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of responsible employment history

Additional Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle
  • Must be at least 23 years of age to operate a company-owned 15-passenger van
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
  • Successful completion of background check elements including criminal record, abuse/neglect, driving record, and fingerprint check
  • Behavioral Management training completed within 30 days or at the first available class (CPI for Residential programs; Peaceful Intervention or Verbal De-escalation for Outpatient programs)
  • Must attain all initial new-hire trainings and annual requirements as listed, including Direct Service Expectations, CPRC-specific forms, and curriculum related to disability awareness, crisis intervention, rights and responsibilities, suicide awareness, infection control, community support philosophy, and more
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and prepare clear, concise reports
  • Strong knowledge of case management, rehabilitation methods, and community resources related to mental health services

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and perform repetitive hand, arm, and finger movements for typing or writing
  • Primarily sedentary work involving sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull small objects as needed
