Placers is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to support day-to-day manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for operating equipment, assembling large-scale components, performing quality checks, and maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hands-on manufacturing or assembly experience who thrive in structured, process-driven environments.
Schedule: 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri
Pay: $20-23/hr, weekly pay!!
Duties
- Follow production schedules and work orders to meet daily output goals
- Operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Perform quality checks at multiple stages of the production process
- Read and follow blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Assemble, clean, lubricate, and maintain components on the production floor
- Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Identify and report quality issues or safety hazards to supervisors
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas (5S standards)
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement
- Assist in other production areas as needed based on business priorities
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years of experience in a hard-tech manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, or chemical manufacturing environment
- Experience with assembly of large-scale equipment (refrigerator-sized to shipping-container-sized preferred)
- Blueprint reading experience required
- Ability to pass extensive background and drug screening
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds
