Placer County Water Agency encompasses the entire, 1,500-square-mile boundary of Placer County, ranging from the rim of the Sacramento Valley on the west to the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe on the east.

The Agency is headquartered in Auburn and carries out a broad range of responsibilities including water resource planning and management, retail and wholesale supply of irrigation water and drinking water, production of hydroelectric power and watershed stewardship across Placer County.

We Are Seeking Candidates For The Position Of

HYDRO ENGINEER I/II (CIVIL)

$109,990 - $179,266 annually, DOQ, plus excellent benefits

PCWA is seeking a dynamic individual to perform the full range of civil engineering maintenance and design duties in support of the Agency’s multi-purpose Middle Fork American River Hydroelectric Project. This person will provide civil engineering expertise while serving in a project lead capacity for projects involving the maintenance, repair, modification, installation and replacement of civil structures and equipment. This position will work out of the Power System offices in Foresthill, CA. Our ideal candidate will possess at least four years of increasingly responsible civil engineering experience in hydroelectric generation and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
