Overview
My client is an offsite construction company that designs, manufactures, and installs light gauge steel frame structures for use in residential and commercial projects throughout Ireland and the UK. They have a team of dedicated, highly skilled people who use modern methods of construction and the latest technology in BIM software to produce offsite solutions to the industry up to 10 stories.
Qualifications
- 5 Years proven experience on structural \ civil engineering projects
- Construction Management Qualification (SMSTS)
- Ability to produce, implement and manage overall project delivery plan including safe systems of work for construction procedures.
- Setting out and site experience essential.
- Strong assertive management skills and ability to make decisions when necessary
- Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good communication and problem solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Ensure on time project delivery meeting highest level of service and quality.
- End to end project management from project award to client handover.
- Continuously develop the systems and methods used to manage product delivery.
- Co-ordinate delivery for the project with Commercial Manager, Design Manager and Production Manager.
- Managing multiple fitting crews on sites.
- Manage all Safety and Quality aspects of each project.
- Report to Commercial manager on any cost implications.
- Responsible for all aspects of managing project delivery from award to client handover.
- Overall responsibility for all site activities such Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety which includes all related assurance, warranty and certification schemes such as SCI and BOPAS.
- Responsible for managing, induction of onsite sub-contractors.
- Responsible for ensuring company satisfies all statutory requirements; i.e Insurance, EHS etc. on site activities.
- Responsibility for all lifting plant and equipment to complete the works
