What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at PlaceMe?
Overview
In a dynamic environment, you will be part of the IT Channel Europe & International team. You will have a critical role to play in leading projects to simplify and automate existing processes across a wide range of business and financial areas, managing and enhancing Power BI financial dashboards as well as supporting closing activities. You will be in constant collaboration with the key peers and leaders and involved on important business and finance topics.
Qualifications
- 3-5y experience in the Finance function with strong IT/software knowledge, ideally from an Auditing background.
- You need to be a pro-active person, team player with international mindset.
- You should demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail to perform in this role as well as ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Effective communication both written and oral is key.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Oracle is an advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead simplification and transformation projects:
- Actively engage with Europe, International and pricing FBP as well as Chief accountant to establish current landscape of processes and to identify areas of simplification and automation in the following processes:
- Closing activities
- Delta price results computation
- Financial results publication
- Forecasting of the P&L and pricing performance
- Actively engage with Europe, International and pricing FBP as well as Chief accountant to establish current landscape of processes and to identify areas of simplification and automation in the following processes:
- Propose and present simplification actions
- Lead and manage the implementation of those actions and project
- Manage and develop our Power BI dashboards to provide visibility to the European business and finance community to improve decision making
- Lead key closing activities supporting the Business Controller during closing:
- Backlog tracking (Open orders, Deferred Revenue, Credit notes…) and adjustment based on HFM Retrieve – tracking by zone and month
- OEM allocations based on POS, Quarterly revenue and orders adjustment
- POS – Projects tracking from Sales out to revenue
- Assist in preparation of add-hocs analysis
