This is a full-time on-site role for a Mortgage Loan Officer, located in Bellingham, WA. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for originating and evaluating residential mortgage applications, assisting clients with loan options, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. Key duties include fostering strong client relationships, collaborating with internal departments, and maintaining updated knowledge of mortgage industry trends and regulations.
- Experience and expertise in Loan Origination, Mortgage Lending, and the Mortgage Industry
- Proficiency in Underwriting practices and processes
- Strong Customer Service and communication skills
- Ability to navigate the latest mortgage-related technology and assess market trends
- Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Active Mortgage Loan Originator license or ability to obtain one
