Place Services, Inc. has an immediate need for a Commercial Electrician – Building Automation Systems (BAS) in our BAS Division to be based out of our Dallas , GA and Covington, GA sites.
As a Commercial Electrician within our BAS Division, you will be instrumental and responsible for a variety of tasks revolving around assembly, installation, testing and maintaining these types of systems. Overtime, travel, night shift work and 10 hour shifts are commonplace in this role.

What You’ll Do:
- Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans
- Installing and mounting electronic controls, device, panels, sensors, and components
- Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices
- Inspecting installation sites and studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures
- Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem

- 1-2 years commercial electrician construction experience preferably in temperature control systems, lighting control, and refrigeration systems/controls - EMS/BAS (Energy Management Systems or Building Automation systems).
- Experience with the following systems/controls preferred: Emerson, CPC, Novar, Danfoss
- OSHA and CPR training a plus
- The ability to lift 50 lbs.
- The ability to transfer 100 lbs. at a distance of 12 feet with the help of another person
- The ability to work outdoors in diverse environments
- The ability to ascend and descend ladders and other elevated structures
- Must be able to work at heights from an elevated aerial device
