Role overview & responsibilities
Reporting to the Supervisor, the Material Handler II is responsible for the sortation, movement, placement, and condition of materials in the warehouse.
- Ensure safe movement of products, which can include pallets, totes, or merchandise.
- Review of product or merchandise to ensure proper placement.
- Prepare pallets or totes to ship.
- Perform minor repairs to pallets or totes which might include pressure washing, manual drying, removing lose wood, residue, adhesive from stickers, buffing, or cutting foreign materials.
- Sortation, inventory, and quality inspections may be required, depending on the location.
- All other duties as assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
What you'll need
