Sanitizer Lead

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of four years’ experience in manufacturing processing.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in manufacturing plant sanitation operations.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, chemical usage, and cleaning techniques.
• Proficiency in using sanitation equipment and technology.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and other food safety and quality standards.
• Must have the knowledge and skills required to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

 POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee direct reports to ensure effective performance of their duties.
• Develop and execute the site sanitation schedule, planning appropriate resources and coordinating with affected departments.
• Drive sanitation practices and administer programs to produce safe products which meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Create and implement cleaning standards, including procedures, checklists, and visual aids.
• Train associates on all sanitation/cleaning procedures.
• Lead all sanitation programs, policies, and practices to ensure plant cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize site production and cleaning schedules in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to execute sanitation requirements.
• Ensure compliance of quality programs.
• Evaluate and assist in development and revision of all site sanitation/cleaning SOPs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including cold and hot environments.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.

Salary Range: $25.00-$30.00
