Working from our sales support office in Somerset, New Jersey, our work environment is flexible and pleasant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This business enablement leader provides product sales support, back-office technical work for accounting and finance, and overall internal IT expertise. This professional ensures that the digital tools used for selling products (CRMs) and recording revenue and costs (ERP/Accounting systems) work together while supporting the various aspects of the company’s working IT infrastructure.

PAY: $100,000 to $140,000 depending on experience and education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• CRM & Accounting Integration: Design and maintain the automated flow of data between sales tools (i.e. Salesforce) and financial systems (i.e. Accounting Seed) to ensure that sales opportunities with product information feed directly into sales orders and purchase orders. When the orders are later fulfilled and the products delivered, AR invoices are generated and AP invoices are processed resulting in revenue and costs being tracked accurately with limited manual entry.
• Product and Customer Master Data Management: Oversee the accuracy of product and client records, ensuring that customer and vendor product information including pricing, billing, shipping, costing, and other data are correct across all platforms to minimize billing and processing errors and to ensure full company profitability.
• Order Fulfillment Coordination: Partner with customer service representatives to provide IT system support to track and fulfill all order management requirements.
• Financial Systems Management: Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of ERP systems (i.e. Salesforce and Accounting Seed) to ensure the seamless integration between operational and accounting data.
• Sales Performance Analytics: Develop and monitor dashboards that provide real-time visibility into sales forecasts, margin analysis, and customer activity for both the sales and finance leadership.
• IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a long-term IT strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Identify and evaluate opportunities for IT improvements while creating and presenting ROI analysis for technology investments/enhancements, identifying cost-saving opportunities through technology influenced process efficiencies, and being directly involved in IT vendor negotiations.
• Process Automation: Identify opportunities to automate order entry and accounting workflows, such as AP/AR processes, month-end close activities, and financial reporting dashboards.
• Infrastructure & Security: Working with the Company’s external IT consultants, assist in maintaining essential IT infrastructure including servers, security tools, and disaster recovery plans to protect sensitive financial data.
• Reporting & Data Analysis: Develop automated financial analytics and management reports that provide insights into variances and trends.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. An MBA or CPA is highly preferred.
• Experience: 2-4 years of IT management experience, with 1-2 years managing or implementing financial/ERP systems.
• Data Integrity Focus: Expert-level knowledge in SQL and Excel to troubleshoot data discrepancies (i.e. between sales opportunities, orders, and accounting ledgers).
• Interpersonal Leadership: Strong ability to translate complex technical issues into business terms for company employees and executives while providing clear guidance to external technical support teams.
• Personal: Quality conscious with excellent organizational and accuracy skills. Courteous, tactful and a good team player. Able to manage multiple priorities. Has a long-term, loyal perspective to career and company.
