PKFOD is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to pursue an internship opportunity with the Firm’s Forensic, Litigation & Valuation (“FLVS”) group. This dynamic group is responsible for performing a vast array of advisory services, including:
- Financial forensics services for commercial and governmental entities
- Civil and criminal litigation support
- Valuations for litigation, tax and financial reporting purposes
During your internship, you will gain real-world experience working with seasoned FLVS professionals. Specific duties may include, but may not be limited to:
- Reviewing historical economic, industrial and financial information.
- Gathering, organizing, analyzing and summarizing supporting documentation.
- Reading, understanding and interpreting technical accounting research topics.
- Executing detailed test work and assisting in client interviews.
- Performing financial analyses, summarizing key findings and reporting relevant results to engagement management through oral and written communication.
- Assisting in the preparation and review of final reports.
- Supporting engagement management administration, including drafting engagement letters and issuing conflict checks.
- Willingness to travel locally for client site visits (i.e., a car is required).
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Thorough organizational skills.
- Experience conducting research.
- Interest in learning new skills and concepts.
- Very task oriented.
- Self-starter.
- Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to travel locally to clients and have access to a car.
